History: How Kid Kang came to learn the martial arts is unknown. The first reported encounter with hi doesn't imply that he was anything unusual at the time. Struck by a Porsche driven by a speeding motorist, the kangaroo was posed for a photo wearing the driver's jacket at the suggestion of his girlfriend. But once the jacket was on, the kangaroo jumped up and sped off, leaving the humans stranded in the outback, as the keys for the car where in the pockets of the jacket.

Badger encountered Kid Kang a few months later while traveling in Australia. They ran into each other again after Kid Kang accidentally transported himself to another dimension whilst jumping rope, and the Badger did likewise.
