Powers/Abilities: The Merk has great telepathic ability which allows him to choose humanity’s murderers while he sleeps. Once he does, he sends this information to Nexus in dreams to carry out his mission and assassinate once awake. The Merk’s lifeblood is the source of Nexus’ fusion power which he must bathe in when his power depletes.

History: The last of an ancient race called the Merk. When the Merk advanced into a plasma state, one remained behind to bestow the gift of almighty justice on the most deserving of races, but never found a race deserving of the gift. A millennia later, a race rose imbued with equal parts grace and squalor called humans. The Merk found the perfect choice in the son of General Theodore Hellpop, Horatio. Once Horatio was of age, the Merk sent him to kill his first victim, his father.
