Powers/Abilities: Nexus is able to fly, both in an atmosphere and through space. He can generate deadly energy bolts capable of vaporizing things. He possesses a force field which protects him from most weapons and the rigors of outer space. After losing his power through the Merk, Nexus made a deal with the Badbrains to supply him with power.

History: A history professor at the University of Wisconsin who quit his job to become the next Nexus for the Merk after Horatio quit the position.  Because the Merk turned Stan’s power on and off at the most inopportune time, Stan went mad and went on a killing spree executing guilty and innocent alike. Horatio was forced to resume his duties as Nexus and hunt down Stan. During the battle with Horatio, Stan was killed by a resurrected Michana Loomis, who mistook Stan for Horatio.
